UPDATE CURBSIDE YARD WASTE

Sarasota County has temporarily suspended the curbside collection of yard waste up to three weeks due to the impacts of COVID-19 being experienced by Waste Management staffing. Residents wishing to dispose of residential yard waste must call the Sarasota County Contact Center at 941-861-5000 in advance to confirm residency, register for disposal and receive instructions about the disposal process. More information is available at scgov.net.
Fees will not be wavied for commercial vehicles that pick up and drop off on behalf of Property Owners in Sorrento East. If you are unable to dispose of your yard waste you can schedule Saturday pickup with Oasis Lawn Care. A nominal fee of $10.00 for pickup to be paid directly to Oasis. All yard waste must be bundled and not exceed 50 pounds per bundle.

After speaking to Sarasotay County, the delay in pickup service for yard waste will most likely be more than 3 weeks, plan on 6 weeks. Schedule a pickup with Oasis today to help keep our community beutiful and avoid Deed Restriction violations.
